Dear Claudine,
You were a very special member of our Spanish conversation classes at U3A, Hawthorn. Thank you for your knowledgeable contributions; you had an extensive vocabulary and a wonderful awareness of the history, politics and culture of the Spanish speaking world.
Your talent, quirky humour, “Frenchness”, down to earth attitude, and humbleness were much admired, appreciated and refreshing.
Wonderful that you lived your life to the fullest and that you had so many skills and interests. I was amazed to see so many of your beautiful paintings, drawings and sculptures in your home, indicative of a very talented artist!
We will miss you! Hope that you are now at peace, united with your loved ones gone before you and may be now, you can give F. Alonso a helping hand from up there 😊.

Claudine with her sketchbook at the Wonthaggi Coal Mine, on our return from the long weekend Painting Excursion in Inverloch, with the Watercolour Society of Victoria in March this year.
Claudine, Lorraine and myself had lots of laughs together.
May you Rest In Peace Claudine and continue to enjoy your painting.
